Look for a hand cream with emollients such as shea butter or vitamin E, to help heal and seal moisture into the skin. Don’t forget to rub cream into your nail beds and cuticle area too! You can also start using a cuticle oil to strengthen and hydrate the nail plate. If your hands are noticeably dry, chapped, or irritated, use a hand cream every time you wash your hands.
